BlackRock Municipal 2020 calls $11.25 million of auction preferreds

Norfolk, Va., Jan. 5 – BlackRock Municipal 2020 Term Trust plans to redeem $11.25 million of its auction preferred shares, according to a Rule 23C-2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The trust will redeem

• $3.75 million, or 150 shares, of its series F-7 preferreds on Jan. 25;

• $3.75 million, or 150 shares, of its series M-7 preferreds on Jan. 26; and

• $3.75 million, or 150 shares, of its series W-7 preferreds on Jan. 28.

As previously reported, the trust redeemed 38 of the series F-7 preferreds on Aug. 24, 38 of the series M-7 preferreds on Aug. 25 and 38 of the series W-7 preferreds on Aug. 20.

The closed-end investment company is based in Wilmington, Del.
