Zetta Jet says court approves request to appoint Chapter 11 trustee

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 29 – Zetta Jet Pte. Ltd. announced that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California approved the U.S. Trustee's and its joint request to appoint a Chapter 11 trustee.

The company said it took this action “to ensure a unified direction in its restructuring efforts amidst continued shareholder disputes.”

The Chapter 11 trustee is expected to be appointed shortly, according to a company news release.

Zetta Jet is a Burbank, Calif.-based private aviation charter company. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 15 under Chapter 11 case number 17-21386.
