Three hhgregg debtors post operating results for month ended June 30

Pittsburgh, July 18 – hhgregg, Inc. reported zero operating income, net sales and net income for June, the same as in May, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In addition, the company had no cash in June or May.

The Gregg Appliances Inc. debtor saw a $377,000 operating loss for June on zero net sales. Net income for June was $36,000.

In comparison, Gregg Appliances reported a $353,000 operating loss and $21,000 of net income for May on zero net sales.

Gregg Appliances listed $9.94 million in cash as of June 30, up from $9.81 million at the end of May.

Meanwhile, the HHG Distributing LLC debtor also showed no operating income, net income, sales or cash for June or May.

hhgregg is an Indianapolis-based specialty retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 6, 2017 under Chapter 11 case number 17-01302.
