hhgregg again reports zero operating income, net sales for September

Pittsburgh, Oct. 13 – hhgregg, Inc. reported zero operating income, net sales and net income for September, the same as in August, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In addition, the company had no cash in September or August.

The Gregg Appliances, Inc. debtor saw a $1.2 million operating loss and $324,000 net loss for September on zero net sales.

Gregg Appliances listed $360,000 in cash as of Sept. 30, down from $563,000 at the end of August.

In comparison, Gregg Appliances saw a $6.99 million operating loss and $7.25 million net loss for August on zero net sales.

Meanwhile, the HHG Distributing LLC debtor also showed no operating income, net income, sales or cash for September or August.

hhgregg is an Indianapolis-based specialty retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 6, 2017 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana under Chapter 11 case number 17-01302.
