Former Performance Sports Group announces board, management changes

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Aug. 7 – Old PSG Wind-down Ltd., formerly, Performance Sports Group Ltd., announced Monday that Roman Doroniuk has been appointed to its board of directors.

According to a company news release, Bernard McDonell has resigned from the board.

Old PSG said Doroniuk has extensive experience and expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring related matters.

In addition, the company said former executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary Michael J. Wall, who has been acting in the capacity of president since the completion of the sale of substantially all of the assets of Old PSG and its North American subsidiaries, has resigned.

Wall has left the company to join the firm of Foley & Lardner LLP, but he will provide consulting services to Old PSG in connection with the ongoing restructuring process on an as-needed basis moving forward, according to the release.

Performance Sports is based in Exeter, N.H., and formerly made sports equipment and apparel. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 31, 2016 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware under Chapter 11 case number 16-12373.
