Former Performance Sports records $57,385 operating loss for April

Pittsburgh, June 1 – Old BPSUSH Inc., formerly Performance Sports Group Ltd., reported a $57,385 operating loss for April on zero revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, Old BPSUSH posted a $416,135 operating loss for the period of Feb. 27 through March 31, also on zero revenue.

The net loss for April was $1.78 million, declining from $149.86 million of March net profit.

As previously reported, the March results included a $151.64 million gain on the sale of assets.

In addition, the company had $28.64 million in cash as of April 30, down from $29.67 million at the end of March.

Performance Sports is based in Exeter, N.H., and makes sports equipment and apparel. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 31, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12373.
