DBRS shifts Abanca trend to negative

DBRS said it changed the trend to negative from stable and confirmed the ratings of Abanca Corporacion Bancaria SA, including the long-term issuer ratings of BBB.

“The change of the trend to negative on the long-term ratings reflects our view that the wide and growing scale of economic disruption caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic is negatively affecting the Bank’s operating environment,” DBRS said in a press release.
