Moody’s changes Itau BBA view

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the A3 long-term deposit and issuer ratings of Itau BBA International plc and its baa2 standalone baseline credit assessment and adjusted BCA.

The bank's outlook was changed to stable from negative.

The agency also affirmed the bank's short-term ratings of Prime-2 and its counterparty risk assessments of A2(cr)/Prime-1(cr).

Moody’s said the change in outlook follows parent Itaú Unibanco SA’s and the government of Brazil’s change in outlook to stable from negative.

The agency said the affirmations reflect an assessment that the bank's credit fundamentals are broadly unchanged.
