Moody's rates Aston Martin notes B2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a B2 instrument rating to the $190 million senior secured notes due 2022 that Aston Martin Capital Holdings Ltd. (Aston Martin Lagonda) issued in April.

The B2 rating is in line with the rating on the existing notes issued by the financing subsidiary, Aston Martin Capital Holdings because the terms mirror the terms of the existing notes, the agency said.

The ratings reflect the company's continued progress in executing its strategy, resulting in good volume, revenue and EBITDA growth and an expectation that the company will likely continue to visibly improve through 2020, Moody's said.

The ratings also consider the strong brand name and pricing position in the luxury cars segment, good geographic diversification and degree of flexibility in its cost structure, the agency said.
