S&P puts TechnipFMC on CreditWatch negative

S&P said it placed TechnipFMC plc’s ratings on CreditWatch with negative implications on the proposed spinoff of its engineering and construction services business.

“TechnipFMC has not yet disclosed its planned capital allocation between the two entities, but we believe the remaining company will have higher leverage,” S&P said in a press release.
