Argentina’s Cordoba province plans dollar bonds via HSBC, JP Morgan

By Rebecca Melvin

New York, June 28 – Argentina’s Province of Cordoba is planning to issue dollar-denominated bonds via bookrunners HSBC and J.P. Morgan, a market source said Wednesday.

Cordoba was finishing up a roadshow on Wednesday and planning to price the bonds on Thursday, the source said.

No terms were yet available and the offering is subject to market conditions.

Proceeds are expected to be used to fund infrastructure and refinance existing debt.

Cordoba is in the central region of Argentina where the country’s second most populous city is located.
