By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., Jan. 24 – Germany’s Atotech BV talked its $425 million offering of eight-year senior notes (CCC+) to yield 6¼% to 6½%, according to a market source.

The deal is set to price Wednesday.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, HSBC, Nomura and RBC Capital Markets Corp. are the joint bookrunners.

The notes come with three years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to fund the leveraged buyout of the Berlin-based manufacturer of specialty plating chemicals and equipment by the Carlyle Group from Total.
