Lung Yen Life Service plans up to NT$3.11 billion convertibles

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 9 – Lung Yen Life Service Corp. plans to issue up to NT$3.11 billion of three-year domestic convertible bonds.

The issue price will be at least 80, and the coupon is tentatively zero.

Proceeds will be used to repay bank loans and to strengthen the company’s capital structure by reducing interest expenses.

Lung Yen operates a cemetery and offers funeral services. The company is based in New Taipei City.
