Moody’s rates Inventive Global notes A1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A1 long-term rating to the proposed dollar-denominated senior unsecured floating- and fixed-rate notes to be issued by Inventive Global Investments Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

Inventive Global is wholly owned by ABC International Holdings Ltd., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Agricultural Bank of China Ltd.

“The A1 rating takes into account an unconditional irrevocable guarantee from Agricultural Bank of China Ltd.., Hong Kong Branch (ABC HK Branch) and are in line with ABC's long-term senior unsecured rating,” the agency said in a news release.

“ABC's A1 long-term senior unsecured rating incorporates the bank's baseline credit assessment of baa2 and a four-notch uplift based on our assumption of a very high level of government support.”
