Norway’s Aker BP announces $500 million senior notes offering

Portland, Ore., March 12 – Aker BP ASA announced in a Monday press release that it has launched a $500 million offering of senior notes via Rule 144A and Regulation S.

The Fornebu, Norway-based oil exploration and development company intends to use the proceeds to partially repay drawn commitments under the its reserves-based lending facility.
