By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., May 27 – Murphy Energy Corp.’s Chapter 7 trustee James W. Cunningham said the company’s bankruptcy cases have been fully administered, according to a final account filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The trustee said that $1.2 million of secured claims, $281,111 of priority claims, and $330,477 of prior administrative fees and charges were paid.

Cunningham has requested to be discharged from his duties as trustee.

Murphy Energy is a Tulsa, Okla.-based privately owned integrated midstream provider of transportation, storage and marketing services for crude oil, natural gas liquids and condensates. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 5, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-33971.
