Moody’s rates IHS notes B2

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a B2 rating to IHS Netherlands Holdco BV’s proposed senior unsecured notes.

The notes will be guaranteed by IHS affiliates.

Proceeds will be used for refinancing debt and for general corporate purposes.

Moody’s affirmed IHS’ B2 corporate family rating and B2-PD probability of default rating.

The outlook is stable.

“We expect that IHS will grow and deleverage in accordance with its business model, and that the Nigerian regulatory, political and economic environment will remain supportive,” said Moody’s in a press release.
