Fitch rates Westpac NZ bonds AAA

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Westpac New Zealand Ltd.'s series 2022-1 for €750 million of fixed-rate mortgage covered bonds an AAA rating.

The bond offers a 12-month extendable maturity and is issued through Westpac Securities NZ Ltd., London Branch, a guaranteed issuing vehicle the issuer uses for international funding.

Fitch affirmed the AAA rating for Westpac New Zealand’s mortgage covered bonds on Dec. 1, 2021.

The outlook is stable.
