Former Haggen’s operating income climbs to $450,000 in December period

Pittsburgh, Jan. 27 – HH Liquidation, LLC, formerly Haggen Holdings, LLC, reported $450,000 of income from operations for the period of Dec. 2 through Dec. 29 on negative $6,000 in net sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
In comparison, the company posted $2,000 of income from operations for the period of Nov. 4 through Dec. 1 on zero net sales.
Net income for the latest period was $1.89 million, improving from a $511,000 net loss for the previous period.
In addition, HH Liquidation had $39.64 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Dec. 29, down from $40.32 million at Dec. 1.
Based in Bellingham, Wash., Haggen is a supermarket company. It filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 8, 2015 under Chapter 11 case number 15-11874.
