Non-brokered deal sells units with half-share warrants at C$0.25 each

Knoxville, Tenn., July 1 – Versus Systems Inc. said on Thursday that it completed a C$5.04 million non-brokered private placement of units.
The company sold 20.16 million units of one common share and one half-share warrant at C$0.25 per unit. The two-year warrants are each exercisable at C$0.40, a 53.85% premium to the June 30 closing share price of C$0.36.
Based in Los Angeles, Versus, formerly Opal Energy Corp., is developing technology that allows video game publishers and developers to offer real-money and prize-based matches and tournaments.
