Insight Venture hires vice president of capital markets Kevin Hurth

Norfolk, Va., June 21 – Insight Venture Partners announced that Kevin Hurth has joined the firm in the position of vice president of capital markets, according to a press release.

In this role, Hurth will focus on executing debt capital markets transactions and managing the firm’s relationships with investment banks.

“We are pleased to welcome Kevin to the Insight Venture Partners team. Kevin has strong experience helping growth companies raise debt,” managing director Deven Parekh said in the release.

“I am confident he will help us enhance our support for our portfolio companies and expand our relationships in the lender and investment banking communities.”

Prior to joining Insight, Hurth spent eight years in Chicago with BMO Capital Markets Corp. and BMO Harris Bank in various leveraged finance roles. Most recently, he was a vice president in BMO Harris Bank’s Sponsor Finance group.
