Shaw Fishman announces launch of Delaware office led by Thomas Horan

By Tali Rackner

Norfolk, Va., June 16 – Shaw Fishman Glantz & Towbin LLC plans to open a new office in Delaware, which will be led by Thomas M. Horan, according to a press release.

“The opening of a Wilmington office is a natural progression for Shaw Fishman, as we see significant value in our offerings and approach that will successfully translate to the nation’s busiest bankruptcy venue,” Robert Fishman, co-chair of the firm’s bankruptcy, reorganization, and creditors’ rights practice, said in the release.

“We’ve had our eyes on the Delaware market for a long time, and believe that having our proven experience, sophistication and value on the ground in Delaware will be an asset to the marketplace.”

Horan, who most recently practiced in the Wilmington, Del., office of AmLaw 200 firm Womble Carlyle, represents debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors and other clients in complex Chapter 11 proceedings. He also represents parties in preference, fraudulent transfer and turnover litigation.

Shaw Fishman is a Chicago-based bankruptcy law firm.
