Telia buys back SEK 345 million floaters, SEK 416 million 1 1/8% notes

Chicago, Sept. 26 – Telia Co. AB, formerly TeliaSonera AB, said it repurchased SEK 345 million of its floating-rate notes due December 2019 and SEK 416 million of its 1 1/8% notes due December 2019.

After the buybacks, the outstanding amount of floaters is SEK 974 million and the outstanding amount of 1 1/8% notes SEK 781 million, according to a company notice.

Interest on the floaters is Stibor plus 53 basis points.

The company said it may make additional purchases of the notes from time to time based on market conditions at that time.

Telia is a Stockholm-based company that provides network access and telecommunication services.
