Ireland’s eircom launches senior notes due 2026, credit facility

Chicago, April 23 – Dublin-based telecom company eircom Finance DAC plans to price an offering of senior secured notes (B+/BB) due 2026, according to a press release.

Additionally, its subsidiary, Eircom Finco Sarl, intends to introduce a new facility under its existing senior facilities agreement. The notes and the facility together are expected to raise €850 million.

Proceeds from the Regulation S notes and the new senior facility will be used to redeem eircom Finance’s €700 million senior secured notes due 2022, to put cash on the balance sheet and to pay fees and expenses associated with the transactions.
