Trustee: HeSaLight enters bankruptcy; no reconstruction solution found

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Nov. 18 – HeSaLight A/S entered bankruptcy on Friday, according to a notice released by Nordic Trustee A/S, the trustee for the company’s 7% senior secured bond issue 2014/2019.

As previously reported, the bond trustee filed a petition for bankruptcy of HeSaLight on Nov. 2.

Before the bankruptcy court decided on the petition for bankruptcy, the company filed a petition for reconstruction, and the court was obliged by Danish law to initiate a reconstruction immediately.

However, the trustee said the organizer of the reconstruction has not been able to find a solution for HeSaLight.

HeSaLight is an LED maker based in Roskilde, Denmark.
