Moody’s ups Stirling Water bonds to Baa1

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded to Baa1 from Baa2 the ratings of the £102.9 million 5.822% guaranteed senior secured bonds due 2026 issued by Stirling Water Seafield Finance plc.

The outlook remains stable.

"Today's rating action reflects good continuing operational performance and the successful commissioning of the Thermal Hydrolysis Plant at the Seafield site," Adam Muckle, Moody’s assistant vice president and lead analyst for Stirling Water, said in a news release.
