Moody’s lifts JBS USA notes to B2

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded the rating on $900 million 6¾% 10-year notes due 2028 co-issued by JBS USA Lux SA and JBS USA Finance, Inc. to B2 from B3.

When originally issued on Feb. 15, the notes were not guaranteed by parent company JBS SA (B3 negative) and were rated B3 by Moody's. JBS SA subsequently guaranteed the notes, leading to this upgrade.

The outlook is negative.
