Fortive to offer senior notes to fund Danaher spinoff

Charlotte, N.C., June 6 – Fortive Corp. intends to offer senior notes in connection with its spinoff from Danaher Corp., according to a news release.

Danaher will guarantee the notes until the spinoff occurs.

Proceeds will be used to make payments to Danaher as consideration for the contribution of assets to Fortive by Danaher in connection with the separation and for general corporate purposes.

The offer is being made under Rule 144A.

Fortive is an industrial growth company based in Everett, Wash.
