Moody’s reviews RegionalCare

Moody's Investors Service said it placed the ratings of RegionalCare Hospital Partners Holdings, Inc., including the B2 corporate family rating, under review, direction uncertain.

The agency said the action follows the announcement that RegionalCare, owned by Apollo Global Management, LLC, will be merged with LifePoint Health, Inc. (Ba2).

Moody’s said the review will focus on the financial leverage and capital structure resulting from the merger transaction.

The review will also focus on the merged companies' scale, diversity, opportunities for synergies and potential for operating disruption from the merger and integration, the agency said.

The transaction is expected to close over the next several months, Moody’s said.
