New Issue: HSBC sells $92,000 buffered market participation notes on S&P 500 ESG

Los Angeles, July 13 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $92,000 of 0% buffered market participation securities due June 30, 2022 tied to the S&P 500 ESG index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, up to a maximum payout of par plus 15.5%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
