JPMorgan plans capped buffered enhanced participation notes on S&P 500

Chicago, Jan. 18 – JPMorgan Chase Financial Co. LLC plans to price 0% capped buffered enhanced participation equity notes due June 28, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.4 times any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of between $1,149.10 and $1,175.28 per $1,000 principal amount of notes.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Jan. 24.
The Cusip number is 46646QKB0.
