Thailand’s Energy Absolute plans up to 20 billion baht of debentures

Morgantown, W.Va., March 1 – Energy Absolute PCL is proposing to issue up to 20 billion baht of debentures, according to a company announcement.

The debentures may be denominated in baht or other currencies and will have maturities of up to 10 years.

Proceeds will be used to refinance debt and for business operations.

The company’s board of directors approved the proposed issuance at its meeting on Wednesday. The debentures are subject to shareholders’ approval at an upcoming general meeting.

Energy Absolute manufactures biodiesel products. The renewable energy company is based in Bangkok.
