New Issue: Thailand’s Energy Absolute sells 8 billion baht bonds in three tranches

Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 12 – Energy Absolute PCL issued 8 billion baht of unsubordinated secured debentures in three tranches on July 22, according to a company announcement on Monday.

The first tranche consists of 1 billion baht of 2.36% three-year debentures; the second tranche consists of 3 billion baht of 2.22% four-year debentures; and the third tranche consists of 4 billion baht of 2.37% five-year debentures.

All three tranches were priced at par.

The four- and five-year debentures are callable in whole or in part three years from the issue date.

Siam Commercial Bank PCL is the guarantor and underwriter.

In April the company obtained shareholder approval for up to 10 billion baht of debentures.

The biodiesel company is based in Bangkok.
