S&P assigns Morgan Stanley notes BBB+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned a rating of BBB+ to the $5 million of series A medium-term notes issued by Morgan Stanley Finance LLC, an unrated subsidiary of Morgan Stanley (BBB+/stable/A-2).

The rating reflects Morgan Stanley's guarantee of the notes as described in its senior indenture dated Feb. 16. The guarantee meets S&P’s criteria for credit substitution.

The notes mature Feb. 23, 2026.
