S&P upgrades Edenor

S&P said it raised its corporate credit and issue-level ratings on Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte SA (Edenor) to B from B-.

The outlook is positive.

The agency said the upgrade follows the company’s smooth execution of the Integral Tariff Review approved on Jan. 31, 2017.

“Edenor's general business conditions have improved, in turn augmenting cash flow generation, which was better than we initially expected in 2017,” S&P said in a news release.
