Moby noteholders can participate in restructuring, new money facility

By Marisa Wong

Los Angeles, July 12 – Moby SpA announced that its paraconcordatario agreement took effect on June 30, according to a Tuesday press release.

As a result, for 30 business days, holders of Moby’s €300 million 7¾% notes due 2023 may express their intention to participate in the paraconcordatario agreement and a new money facility.

Noteholders may elect option A or option B. Option A will not entitle the holder to participate in the new money facility, while option B entitles a creditor to participate in the disbursement of the new money facility.

The notes were originally issued under the name Onorato Armatori SpA and guaranteed by ALE1 BV.

The ferry operator is based in Milan. The company made its Chapter 15 filing on Jan. 14 under case number 22-10311.
