WEC Energy to offer add-on to 4.75% senior notes due 2026

Lexington, Ky., April 4 – WEC Energy Group, Inc. will sell an add-on to its 4.75% senior notes due Jan. 9, 2026, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call until Dec. 9, 2025, one month prior to maturity, and then a par call.

Barclays and TD Securities (USA) LLC are the joint bookrunners.

Siebert Williams Shank & Co. LLC is the co-manager.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.

Legal counsel for WEC will be provided in-house and by Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP. Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP will act as counsel to the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay short-term debt and for general corporate purposes.

The new notes are part of the same series as the $650 million of notes issued on Jan. 11.

WEC Energy is a Milwaukee-based diversified holding company for electric and gas businesses in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota.
