WEC Energy prepares dual-tranche offering of fixed-rate senior notes

Chicago, Jan. 9 – WEC Energy Group, Inc. is in the Monday market with a two-part offering of senior notes with fixed coupons, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each of the notes has a make-whole call option followed by a par call option.

Barclays, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are joint bookrunners.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Ramirez & Co., Inc. are working as co-managers.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co. is the trustee.

WEC is using in-house counsel and Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP. The underwriters will use Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP as counsel.

Proceeds will be used to repay short-term debt and for other general corporate purposes.

WEC Energy is a Milwaukee-based diversified holding company for electric and gas businesses in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota.
