WEC Energy readies offering of single tranche of senior notes

Chicago, March 16 – WEC Energy Group, Inc. prepared to offer a single tranche of fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

The notes will have a make-whole call optional redemption, which converts to a par call before maturity.

Barclays, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., TD Securities (USA) LLC, U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are working as bookrunners on the notes.

Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., Inc. is a co-manager.

Proceeds will be used to repay a term loan and for general corporate purposes.

WEC Energy is a Milwaukee-based diversified holding company for electric and gas businesses in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota.
