WEC Energy plans to offer fixed-rate senior notes

Chicago, Sept. 14 – WEC Energy Group, Inc. is in the market with an offering of fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call.

Joint bookrunners for the offering are Barclays, BofA Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

The senior co-manager is BMO Capital Markets Corp., joined by Panserra Securities LLC and Ramirez & Co., Inc. as co-managers.

The Milwaukee-based electricity and natural gas service provider will use the proceeds to repay commercial paper and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
