Man GLG hires Ossés as head of emerging market debt strategies

Chicago, Jan. 25 – Man GLG, a subsidiary of Man Group plc, announced it has hired emerging markets fixed-income specialist Guillermo Ossés as head of its emerging market debt strategies.

He will report to Man GLG co-chief executive officer Teun Johnston in New York.

Ossés has 24 years’ experience with emerging markets fixed-income investments.

He most recently led HSBC Asset Management’s emerging markets fixed income capabilities, a post he held since 2011. Before that, he was an emerging markets fixed-income portfolio manager at Pacific Investment Management Co., LLC (Pimco) and held emerging markets positions at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank, according to a news release.

Man GLG is a London-based discretionary fund manager.
