Fitch may upgrades Bank Tabungan, Bank KEB

Fitch Ratings said it placed PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Syariah Tbk.'s AA(idn) national long-term rating on Rating Watch positive and upgraded PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia's short-term issuer default rating to F2 from F3.

The outlooks on both banks are stable.

The ratings on Bank KEB Hana Indonesia and Bank Tabungan reflect the high likelihood of timely extraordinary parental support to be forthcoming from the banks' higher rated parents, if needed, Fitch explained.

Bank KEB Hana Indonesia is 89.0% owned by Korea-based KEB Hana Bank, the agency said, and Bank Tabungan is 39.9% owned by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.
