Fitch rates KEB Hana Bank notes AAA(idn)

Fitch Ratings Indonesia said it assigned a national long-term rating of AAA(idn) to PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia's (AAA(idn)/stable) proposed senior unsecured medium-term notes I 2018 of up to Rp 773 billion.

The notes will have a maturity of up to three years and proceeds will be used to support the bank's business growth.

The notes are rated at the same level as KEB Hana Indonesia's national long-term rating in accordance with Fitch’s criteria.

This is because they will constitute direct, unsubordinated and senior unsecured obligations of the bank and rank equally with all its other unsecured and unsubordinated obligations, the agency explained.
