India’s Piramal board to mull issuing up to Rs. 5.3 billion of debt

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 22 – Piramal Enterprises Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors will meet on Friday to consider raising funds of up to Rs. 5.3 billion.

The company may issue convertible securities or any other securities, by way of one or more kinds of issue, according to the notice.

Piramal Enterprises is a Mumbai-based subsidiary of the Piramal Group.
