S&P assigns A rating to Adena Health bonds

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A rating to Ross County, Ohio's $138 million series 2008 bonds issued for Adena Health System.

The bonds are dated Aug. 14, 2008 and are due Dec. 01, 2038.

S&P affirmed its A rating on Ross County's series 2006, 2001, 1998 and 1993 bonds, and its AA+/A-2 rating on the series 1998 bonds, all issued for Adena Health System.

The series 2008 bonds are being issued to refund the series 2001 and 2006 bonds, terminate the outstanding swap agreements and create a debt service reserve fund.
