Pittsburgh, March 12 - Adelphia Communications Corp.'s Contingent Value Vehicle has changed its name to Adelphia Recovery Trust, according to a company news release.

According to the release, Adelphia Recovery Trust was formed under Adelphia's plan of reorganization, which became effective Feb. 13.

The trust holds litigation claims transferred under the plan against various third parties and exists to prosecute the causes of action transferred to it for the benefit of holders of trust interests.

Adelphia, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based cable operator, emerged from bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Feb. 13. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729.
