Adelphia details amount of issued and reserved contingent value vehicle interests

Pittsburgh, Feb. 15 - Adelphia Communications Corp. announced today the number of outstanding units in the various series of interests of its contingent value vehicle, according to a company news release.

The CVV is a statutory trust that was formed first-modified fifth-amended plan of reorganization to hold litigation claims against Adelphia's third-party lenders and accountants and other parties.

The number of CVV interests issued and reserved for issuance for each series includes:

• A total of 115 million RF units, with none reserved for disputed and other claims;

• A total of 722.64 million Arahova units, with none reserved;

• A total of 86.6 million FrontierVision units, with none reserved;

• A total of 25.58 million FPL units, with none reserved;

• A total of 17 million Olympus units, with none reserved;

• A total of 4.84 billion ACC-1 units, with none reserved;

• A total of 331.3 million ACC-2 units, with 247.41 million reserved for disputed and other claims;

• A total of 269.7 million ACC-3 units, with 223.57 million reserved;

• A total of 17 ESL units, with all 17 reserved;

• A total of 1.79 billion ACC-4 units, with none reserved;

• A total of 458 ACC-5 units, with all 458 reserved;

• A total of 150 million ACC-6B units, with none reserved;

• A total of three ACC-6B1 units, with all three reserved;

• A total of 575 million ACC-6D units, with none reserved;

• A total of four ACC-6D1 units, with all four reserved;

• A total of 935.81 million ACC-6EF units, with none reserved;

• A total of five ACC-6EF1 units, with all five reserved;

• A total of 229.79 million ACC-7 units, with none reserved; and

• A total of 19.29 million ACC-7A units, with 464 reserved.

Adelphia, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based cable operator, filed for bankruptcy on June 25, 2002 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729.
