New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $762,000 notes linked to Alerian MLP ETF

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 8 – Morgan Stanley priced $762,000 of 0% securities due March 9, 2017 linked to the Alerian MLP exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final share price is greater than or equal to the downside threshold value, 65% of the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of (a) 10% and (b) 150% of the ETF return, subject to a maximum return of 31.4%. If the final share price is less than the downside threshold value, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the final share price is less than the initial share price.
