Moody’s applies A3 to Midea

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A3 issuer rating to Midea Group Co., Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

"Midea's A3 rating reflects its large scale, geographic diversification and leading position in China's durable white goods markets," Moody's vice president and senior credit officer Lina Choi said in a news release.

"Such a leading position is supported by its well-established brand, extensive distribution network and strong operational efficiency."
