Moody's gives Aaa to Beaumont I.S.D., Texas, building bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A1 underlying rating and Aaa enhanced rating to Beaumont Independent School District, Texas' $90 million of unlimited-tax school building bonds, series 2008.

The enhanced rating was based on a guarantee from the Texas Permanent School Fund.

Sale of the bonds was set for Thursday.
